Basic information

The Moravian-Silesian Research Library in Ostrava is located in the center of Ostrava in the New Town Hall on Prokešovo náměstí - find on mapy.cz (GPS: 49.8410519N, 18.2911697E)    

The following workplaces are located in the right wing of the New Town Hall: user enrolment, lending room, lending room and serial lending, German Study Room, Information desk (consulting room), consulting services (bibliography), inter-library loan service, reprography.  

In the left wing of the New Town Hall you will find a Special Funds Department.  

The Education and Regional Services Centre (including the Regional Learning Centre) can be found at Prokešovo náměstí 2 (opposite the New Town Hall) in a residential building on the ground floor in the corner next to the café.
